I spent a large majority of my childhood watching various sporting events with my brothers and father. I am not your typical girl that pretends to know about sports. I’m not a casual sports fan. I traveled to Detroit when the Steelers were in the Superbowl. I traveled to Pittsburgh three years later. I cried when they won. Both times. I know a perfect QB rating is 158.3. I know a hat trick is 3. I know an intentional foul is 2 shots and the ball. I know the difference between encroachment and offsides. I know a battery is a pitching/catching combo and  southpaw is a lefty. I didn’t Google any of that information.

I know sports.  I can talk sports. I don’t know EVERYTHING about sports…no one does. One of the awesome things about sports is that everyone has an opinion. So that’s what this blog aims to do–put my opinions out there and get into some great conversations.

I will cover a multitude of sports–some popular, some not–I can’t always guarantee I’ll be unbiased. Favorite teams include the: Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Chicago Cubs, Penn State Nittany Lions (2008 alum) & the Syracuse Orange (2009 alum).
